We have enjoyed two wonderful family holidays at Maison du Couvent. Trisha and Don are welcoming and thoughtful hosts, and the accommodation is spacious, clean and well-equipped. There is free access to the large swimming pool, and walnut trees provide shade for those who don’t want to be in the sun. We enjoyed all our meals outside around the large table on the terrace overlooking the pleasant garden area. The town is beautiful and historically interesting - we will definitely be going back if we can! Sarah B - August 2023
We have just returned from a week's stay and regret terribly not staying for two! The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location in a lovely town. We have stayed in many gites etc in France and we couldn't fault anything about this one. It was lovely staying somewhere with good quality crockery, cutlery , bedding…everything about it was great! "After five days at this centuries old, but wonderfully remodeled, [gite], I believe I've found the perfect base. As I write this, at the Maison du Couvent, on a cool spring morning, I know I'll be coming back. Time for coffee, and then a walk past the cherry and walnut trees, up to the castle."
